    Learn how to get affordable health coverage for your small business through the Chamber Benefit Plan. This innovative plan from the Missouri Chamber Federation uses a multiple employer welfare arrangement (MEWA) model to enable smaller employers like you to join together and share in the overall claims risk by being part of a larger self-funded pool.

  • CHAMBER AMBASSADORS

    • Act as the Chamber's public relations group
    • Support new Chamber members
    • Assist in grand openings/ribbon cuttings
    • Conduct annual "Operation Thank You" visits

    GOLF

    • Develop a budget and timeline for both golf tournaments
    • Plan ways to market and promote the tournaments
    • Recruit at least 100 players
    • Obtain prizes and auction items

    BANDS ON BYARS

    • Develop a budget and timeline for the Community Music Festival
    • Plan ways to market and promote the event
    • Find sponsors and funding for the event
    • Serve as volunteers on the day of the event

    Meets: Dates to be determined March through September

    JOINT GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

    • Develop local, regional, state, and federal legislative agendas reflecting issues of importance to Chamber members
    • Host a monthly committee meeting during the session to monitor progress on specific issues
    • Keep in touch with local, state, and federal legislators regarding issues of importance to the Chamber and the business community
    • Host the annual Mayor’s State of the City Address
    • Monitor and discuss issues that affect the community

    Meets: Committee - October - April, 4th Monday at 12:00 p.m.

    ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (requires EDC membership)

    • Assist in developing marketing strategies for commercial and industrial development
    • Devise programs for working with existing business retention/expansion
    • Promote and assist residential development
    • Foster education of local development issues
    • Develop a relationship with Centerpoint officials regarding the International Freight Gateway

    GENERAL ELIGIBILITY

    • Must have 2–50 eligible employees enrolled in your medical plan
    • Must be domiciled in Missouri
    • Must be in good standing with the Grandview Chamber that satisfies the Missouri Department of Insurance requirements

  • We put together an annual Directory & Community Guide magazine with information about our members and local community. Every member receives a copy, and extra copies are available at the Chamber office. We give these out to new residents, visitors, and businesses looking for more information about Grandview.   • Our membership dues are based on the number of employees your business has. Part-time employees count as half, so two part-time employees would count as one.
